Something new and exciting is happening in African-American Pageantry. Finally, a pageant that celebrates all African-American women regardless of age, sizes, or shape. A pageant designed with YOU in mind! A pageant with no hidden agendas, outrageous entrance fees, or undesirable schedule demands.
Introducing the Miss African-American Sophisticate Pageant, An internet pageant for today's African American Woman. There is no degrading swimsuit competition, and pageant experience is not needed. The focus is on intelligence, creativity, and achievement. The characteristics every African-American Woman possesses naturally.

Miss (Ages 18 to 29)
Classic Ms (ages 18 to 29, size 14 and over)
Mrs (ages 21 and over, married)

Categories of Competition
Essay 50%
Community Service 25%
Academic or Personal Achievement 25%
Essay
Contestants will be required to write an essay of 350 words or less on a topic facing the African-American Community. The topic for 2004-05 is TBA at this time.
Community Service/Achievement
Each contestant is required to submit a resume including community service and academic or personal achievements. This list can include other pageant activities and organizations you are a part of such as sororities and other civic organizations. Supporting documents such as college transcripts, newspaper articles, and proof of other pageant titles are also acceptable.

All state and regional Queens will receive:

FREE ENTRY IN A LIVE NATIONAL PAGEANT
2004-05 Entry fees are TBA, but will include crown, bannner, and gift certificate.
